Hello to everyone I just wanted to say hey and let everyone know I am going to do my best to keep everyone informed of what is going on. Important updates from the desk of our new Secretary

Due to our old secretary going back to school and everything switching hands. We now have a new website and email address. The website is up and running but is still under construction.

We are planning to have our cookbook ready to sell by June. Keep watching the website and newsletters for updates.

We are planning on doing a float for the west union fest in July. It should be fun to see what everyone comes up with for a float. The floats are supposed to have out houses on them.

We have had the pleasure of working with 6 wonderful high school students over the past year. They have been doing many projects. The kids get to go be Pages for senator Edgell (due to weather issues and contradictions with the B.O.E the kids did not get to go be pages). We are also making plans to take them to a couple historic places over spring break. They also have been working on making movies and will have a film fest in May. We are in the process of planning to make signs for the abandoned cemeteries this summer. The kids will also be going into read history stories to the younger kids in the evenings. We are planning on having the kids do a little story of a historic building or structure and include it in our newsletters starting with our next newsletter.

And now as the new vice president / secretary of Swiger run library I will try my best to keep everyone updated on all upcoming events and happenings. I will try to put a little note in each of the newsletter to inform everyone of what is going on as well as putting it on our new website. Please bear with me on the website I am trying to get it all up and running with every thing on it by April or sooner if possible.
